Herd data – animal IDs, breed, birth dates, health events, treatments, milk production records, feeding schedules, and any notes you enter.
Media – photos or videos you capture via the camera or upload from your gallery (e.g., cow body condition, injury, or ear tag).
Location – if you grant location permission, we may collect your farm’s approximate or precise GPS coordinates to provide weather‑based recommendations or record grazing areas.
Communications – any messages you send to our support team.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically Device information – model, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
App usage data – features used, time spent, crash logs, and performance data (through Firebase or similar analytics tools).
Notification tokens – to send you reminders (e.g., “Time to milk”, “Vaccination due”).
1.3 Camera & Gallery Access Camera – used only when you actively take a photo of an animal, ear tag, or farm area. The App does not access your camera in the background.
Gallery – accessed only when you explicitly choose an existing photo/video from your device to attach to an animal’s record.
No facial recognition – we never attempt to identify humans from images.
1.4 Location Access (if enabled) Background location – not used. Location is only collected when the App is open and you perform a location‑related action (e.g., marking a pasture boundary).
Purpose – linking weather data to your herd’s location, or mapping animal movements.
Provide and maintain the App’s core features (herd management, milk tracking, health alerts).
Process AI analysis of uploaded images (e.g., detect an ear tag number or assess body condition score).
Send you push notifications for feeding, milking, vet appointments, or health alerts (you can disable these in settings).
Improve the App’s performance and fix bugs.
Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your farm data, animal records, or personal information to third parties.
With your consent – e.g., you export a health report to share with your veterinarian.
Service providers – cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), analytics (Firebase), crash reporting (Sentry). They are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services we request.
Legal requirements – if required by law, court order, or government regulation (e.g., animal disease outbreak reporting).
Business transfers – if we are acquired or merged, your data will be transferred under the same privacy commitments.
Retention – We keep your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App. You may delete your account at any time; all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Account Deletion You can delete your account directly inside the App: Settings → Account → Delete Account All herd records, images, and personal information will be permanently erased.

International Data Transfers If you use the App from outside our server’s region, your data may be transferred to and processed in that region. By using the App, you consent to such transfer.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App (e.g., a pop‑up notice) or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
